Pretty in Pink

Denise brought me this lovely flannel quilt top.  She chose an overall pattern called Swirly Gig for the center and a bead board pattern for the border. I like how putting a different border around an edge to edge gives the quilt a bit of a custom look. Since it is still rather cool here I think the recipient of this quilt will get some definite use out of this pretty quilt.

I quilted the top in So Fine 714 which is a pale pink variegated thread.  Hobbs 80/20 was used for the batting. I wish the pictures were better, but I am working on a learning curve.
